AHN CANCER CENTER
The AHN Cancer Institute at Forbes Hospital is part of a $225 million plan by AHN and Highmark Health to expand leading edge cancer care in the region. Chris Trotta, President and Founder of levelHEADS, was contracted as the Architect of Record for the project.
FORBES CONSTRUCTION
Construction of the new $35 million, 63,000 square-foot facility began in February and opened for operations in February 2019.
CUSTOM DESIGN
Infusion bays for the Cancer Center's were custom designed to provide a uniquely open and comfortable feel for patients and their loved ones. Consideration were made to allow for lots of natural light and high staff/patient visibility.
MOCK-UPS
Programming flow and design functionality were of the utmost importance when creating the space.
INFUSION BAYS
The completed space was a huge hit with staff and patients, due to added patient privacy, comforting feel, open layout and high patient/staff visibility.
MEETING HALL
Allegheny Health Network’s new Cancer and Imaging Center at Forbes Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility providing world-class care for Monroeville residents and its neighboring communities.
CONCEPT DESIGN
