The Galaxy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital represents the highest standard of NICU design, technology and clinical practice. Space design considered several critical elements for providing the best healing environment for newborns, including acoustical controls, advanced equipment planning, lighting and air quality.

The AHN Cancer Institute of Highmark Health implemented a $200 million plan to expand leading edge cancer care into the communities of western PA. levelHEADS worked with Northshore Healthcare to develop a Micro-Hospital on a 20-acre medical campus in NE Ohio. The campus is comprised of medical offices buildings, retail and out patient care. The centerpiece of the complex is a Micro-Hospital, which was located at the end of a large “town-center”.
This new facility centralizes surgical, imaging (MRI), and rehabilitation modalities and recognizes staffing, operating, and occupancy requirements to maximize savings and efficiencies. Click to view Properties article.
